What does it mean to be a sponsor of f(x) First in Orbit? Our team was founded in North Carolina, a state that has not yet launched a CubeSat. We are important to North Carolina, offering students a chance to design, build, test and launch a CubeSat into space. Few people are given this incredible opportunity. We will be exposed to STEM, develop leadership skills and collaborate with each other and spread the educational possibilities of STEM, Aero and Astro space initiatives to our community.
Being a sponsor of f(x) First in Orbit is being apart of this incredible journey. North Carolina, specifically Johnston County, has been given this one-time opportunity to launch a CubeSat, but we can’t do it without your help. This can change the future of Johnston County, bringing STEM, Aero and Astro opportunities to a place where tractors can be seen traveling down main roads.
